About Us
With Wytheville and the surrounding areas being very fast growing communities, our owner and founder Amanda Brewer-Lord, felt the great need for dependable child care for our families. So while still owning, operating, and practicing at Wythe Eye Associates, she decided to take it upon herself to open what we know as Little Eyes Daycare. Dr. Brewer-Lord knew for certain that she wanted a childcare facility that focused on, not only education, but teaching children kindness and integrity. And that is exactly what Little Eyes Daycare is all about.
We strive to make all employees, families, and children feel safe, welcomed, and enjoy themselves in and outside of our daycare. Dr. Brewer-Lord also went above and beyond to make this daycare a Licensed Child Care Facility. Which means we are certified by the state of Virginia to have the ability to create a learning and enjoyable daycare for Wytheville and the surrounding areas.

We thrive in making our daycare a family oriented facility. Our owner and founder Amanda Brewer-Lord saw the need for a licensed daycare facility when her family and the doctors who work for her at Wythe Eye Associates began starting their own families. They were struggling with finding childcare for their own loved ones. So when she started her journey into opening Little Eyes Daycare, her main goal was to keep family in the center of it. And to not only hire family members and loved ones but to also make the children and their caregivers feel like our family as well.
We strive to have a close relationship with all of our staff, students and parents and make them feel like a part of our own family. Doing that we have implemented an “open door” policy with parents and staff to make everyone feel heard and seen. We want all questions or concerns to be brought directly and kindly to our daycare leaders and we will address everything with compassion and empathy.
Little Eyes Daycare is a licensed daycare facility. We are licensed under the Virginia Department of Education. Below is the link for their website and other information.
